South Delta United Soccer Club Announces Leadership Transition and Continued Commitment to Technical Excellence

Delta, BC — October 14, 2025 — South Delta United Soccer Club (SDU) is announcing updates to its leadership and technical structure as part of its continued commitment to providing high-quality programming and development for players and coaches across all levels of the club.

SDU’s Sporting Director, Chris Cerroni, will be departing the club as he takes on an exciting new opportunity with Vancouver Rise FC, where he will serve as Academy Technical Director. SDU congratulates Chris on this next step in his career and thanks him for his contributions to the club’s technical and coach-development programs.

While Chris transitions to his new role, Technical Director Jason Jordan and Club Administrator Kristin Biro will continue leading SDU’s operations, programming, and coach development in expanded roles. Their collaboration ensures stability and complete continuity across all programs.

A former Vancouver Whitecaps and Canadian National Team player, Jason Jordan, brings proven leadership and technical expertise to SDU. Known for his commitment to player-centred development and coach mentorship, Jason will continue advancing SDU’s focus on excellence across all levels.

Kristin Biro has strengthened SDU’s operations through her organizational expertise, proactive approach, and attention to detail. Her ability to anticipate needs and support families and staff keeps the club running efficiently and effectively.

All current SDU coaches will remain in place, and programming will continue without disruption.

To support ongoing coach education, SDU will continue to collaborate with Chris Cerroni to provide access to professional development and formal coach-education opportunities, ensuring coaches benefit from consistent mentorship and learning.

“We’re thrilled for Chris and proud to see him take this next step in his career,” said Rick Ocean, President of SDU. “At the same time, our club remains in excellent hands under Jason Jordan and Kristin Biro. Their professionalism, communication, and shared commitment to our community will ensure SDU continues to thrive and deliver outstanding programs.”

SDU thanks Chris Cerroni for his leadership and looks forward to building on the club’s successes with Jason Jordan and Kristin Biro guiding the way forward.
